Announcing the HSBL
The Historical Simulation Baseball league.

League History: This league was started in 1901 fresh, without an import of baseball’s history up to that point. It ran along Historical lines with Spritze DB and players enter when they made their 1st Professional appearance not when they make their ML Debut. Player Talent Randomness is maxed out so maybe Johnny Bench is nothing more than a Journeyman and Ike Hampton became the Stud of MLB at catcher! This league has its own History and records starting in 1901

During the 1960’s expansion years 3 levels of Minors were added. The DH is the AL and all its Minors but not the NL or its affiliates.
In 1975 to avoid the possibility of a worst case scenario of losing its anti-trust exemption Baseball decides Free Agency will hit in February and the league will reorganizes because of the First Collective Bargaining agreement with an inaugural draft (Which is where we started) of 80 rounds to fill a vast portion of your organization. Settings are as follows.
Scouts on: Accuracy high
Coaches: On and teams are required to maintain full staffs throughout their system
Suspensions on (No Drug suspensions) Frequency normal
Ratings: All 1-20, >Max=yes, < Potential yes, Stars, Ratings based on AI, Based on all players not positions
Roster limits are 25 at ML level, 30 AAA, 35 AA and 40 A with ghost players turned on.
40 Man rosters are utilized,
Players have the right to refuse
The Rule 5 draft is in effect and happens on December 23rd
You CAN NOT trade draft picks
You can deal recently drafted players.
Players can’t veto trades.
All Trades are processed Pre-Sim, this means during the regular season you need to post any Player Placement info in the trade thread, (leave room in Rotations, Lineups and/or depth charts as appropriate). ML Players Traded should be waived and Designated for assignment. Minor League players will move over to your Minor League system and any International Complex Players must be promoted. Please also list the level of the player so I don't have to go hunting for him. Your goal should be to leave as little work possible for the transaction.

to Tampa Bay for: LF Hank Mays, (AA) , RP Julio Noname (A) and 500k
Tampa instructions:Please SP Joe Blow in the open #1 SP Slot, and LF Doe in the # 4 Open slot vs RHP Playing RF and #5 vLHP Playing LF.
Arizona Instructions: Please Put RP Noname in setup role, 8th inning or later with secondary role of closer , and LF Hank Mays on ML club and please just hit “Generate depth charts based on these lineups”
If no instructions are posted ML players will go to DFA
The amateur Draft will be the rounds allowed by player availability (Minus 1) with the pool being displayed 60 days before the December 14th draft
All Trades should be posted by one Team and confirmed by the second team in channel #zconfirmedtrades in the slack room by file processing time
1975(Or current year) Financial s are in effect with a 45,000,000 Hard Cap.
Cap adjust to an amount in which the typical Superstar players salary = 13-15% of the cap rounded up to the nearest million.
Here is the future increases of the Hard Salary cap for the HSBL
1998 = $45,000,000
1999 = $53,000,000
2000 = $61,000,000
2001 = $69,000,000
2002 = $77,000,000
2003 = $85,000,000
2004 = $93,000,000
2005 = $100,000,000
At this point the Hard Cap is locked at $100,000,000
Free Agent Compensation is in effect, Type A signing = Loss of 1st round pick, First half protected (Picks 1-15) Loss of 2nd round pick if pick protected. PLUS team gains supplimental pick between rounds 1 and 2
All of the following are set to the lowest setting of entrants: International Amateur Free Agents (12), International Discoveries (3), International Established free Agents (4) and Independent Free Agents (1)
Recalc is turned OFF, we use the OOTP development engine

This league will Sim 1 week of game time EVERY DAY, 7 Days a Week,365 days a Year barring unforeseen circumstances. If this is too often, this league may not be for you. Sim time is after 5pm EDT (could be a little late but never early unless notified in advance)
